This is a website for an author who will be releasing her next novel, and she wanted to have the site in place before the launch of the book.

This site marks the first time I have used and modified a Genesis child theme. It is based on the Remobile Pro theme, and I found it very easy to use and easy to figure out how to modify things to get to what the client wanted.

The site is mobile responsive and I particularly liked the number of widgetized areas on the home page. Basically, there’s a widget for everything I wanted to do! I also found the community support for modifying Genesis themes really awesome; I have been hearing so much about Genesis that I just had to try it. I’m glad I did. I am excited and looking forward to learning more about Genesis theme development so I can begin to create my own themes on this framework.
